We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automotive service, and possess strong mechanical knowledge. This position offers the opportunity to work in an established shop of 43 years and perform a variety of tasks related to vehicle maintenance and repair.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform automotive maintenance tasks, including state inspections, oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, engine repairs, and installations.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on various vehicles, all makes and models.
- Align wheels and suspension systems for optimal vehicle performance
- Conduct diesel engine repairs when necessary
- Utilize power tools and welding equipment as needed for repairs
- Collaborate with service technicians and mechanics to ensure efficient workflow
**Requirements:**
- State Inspections
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician/Mechanic
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and components
- Familiarity with dealership operations and service procedures
- Ability to weld and use power tools effectively
- Proficiency in diesel engine repair is a plus
