NOW HIRING - Service Technician
Full-time | $60,000+/year (depending on skills and experience) + bonuses + company vehicle
About the role-
Washhouse runs 6 multi-bay car wash locations, and we need a hands-on Service Technician to keep them running at their best. You'll repair and maintain wash equipment, provide tech support to our site teams, manage parts and supplies, and help keep every location clean and up to standard. You'll report to our Head of Service and Director of Operations. We want someone who takes initiative, notices details, and brings ideas for doing things better
What you'll do-
• Service, repair, and maintain equipment across all locations, including Tommy's and MacNeil tunnel systems, PDQ Tandem in-bay automatics, DRB XPT, Washify and Unitec Sentinel pay stations/kiosks, and Carolina Pride self-serve bays
• Travel between sites to keep downtime low, and help managers with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
• Support security cameras, cloud storage, laptops, VPNs, and internet at all sites and the home office
• Provide on-call phone and in-person support to operators, 6 days a week (8 AM–8 PM)
• Order and track spare parts, soap, and supplies for each location and the company vehicle
• Keep accurate service, inventory, and travel records
• Check that sites are running, clean, and meeting Washhouse standards, and help hold staff accountable to our procedures
• Handle communication with vendors, and transport or ship equipment and documents when needed
• Give daily updates on Slack and join weekly service and operations meetings
What we're looking for-
• Experience repairing mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic equipment (car wash experience is a big plus)
• Comfort troubleshooting basic IT: networks, cameras, computers, and payment systems
• Organized and reliable with records and inventory
• Clear communicator who can walk someone through a fix over the phone
• Willing to travel between locations and stay overnight sometimes
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Pay and benefits-
• $60,000+ base salary, higher depending on skill set and experience, paid twice a month
