HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY TO TRUE TECH AUTOMOTIVE!
One year ago today, True Tech Automotive officially opened its doors.
For anyone wondering how it all started, this is it.
What began as an experiment, working out of the back of my car, has grown into a lifelong passion. When I realized that this experiment was working and that I would eventually leave my full-time government position, I knew I needed more space. I purchased the old, neglected Ford van for $2,000 and put many, many hours into getting it into tip-top shape and ready for full-time use.
After a couple of years, I had a new vision for what True Tech would be. Rather than blending in and becoming one of the many mobile mechanic options springing up around the Valley, I decided to invest in standing out from the crowd. After many long weeks and late nights, it absolutely worked.
In August 2025, I signed the lease for 400 North Delphine Ave and got to work. We painted and decorated the waiting room, cleaned up the landscaping, and installed our first lift. With the help of great friends and family, we officially opened on September 23, 2025.
For the next six months, I worked solo before hiring a rockstar employee in March.
Now, one year and 436 repairs later, I couldn't be happier. The lot is constantly busy, we've received dozens of new reviews, and things are looking great. Thank you all for supporting our new business and we really would not have been able to do this without your support.
And finally, we are closed starting today and will reopen on October 5th as I am out of town for my honeymoon.
