Customer came to us after Toyota Dealership diagnosed a failed engine due to overheating. Engine came out today. Multiple dropped valve seats and piston to valve contact. Cause of this disastrous event was an old fan belt that partially shredded on a long road trip. Belt cut a hose and caused a significant coolant loss. Before taking a road trip it is always advisable to have a pre trip check performed.
