Today, we pause to honor and remember a man who meant a great deal to the car show community and right here at home.
Many of you knew him as Hobo—a familiar voice, a steady presence, and someone who brought energy, connection, and authenticity to every event he was part of. His passion for the car show scene wasn’t just something he did—it was who he was. He helped create the atmosphere we all look forward to, and his absence will be deeply felt.
For those of us involved with the Wautoma Father’s Day Car Show, this loss hits especially close. Hobo wasn’t just part of the show—he was part of our local community, a neighbor, and a friend to many. His presence helped shape what this event has become, and his impact will not be forgotten.
Beyond the music and the mic, Hobo was also a veteran, someone who served his country with honor. That alone speaks volumes about his character, dedication, and sense of duty.
As we move forward with this year’s show, we will carry his memory with us. We encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect, share a memory, or simply appreciate the impact he had on this community.
