Cruzin Classics LLC

Cruzin Classics LLC This is how I got started I began my restoration career in my father’s garage working on MOPARs in the 1960s.

My favorite car back then was my uncle’s 1968 Coronet 500 Convertible. I also raced a 1971 Satellite at Columbus 151 Speedway and Capital Super Speedway in the late 70's and early 80's. I worked in a collision shop for around a year and a half and received an offer to work at a local restoration shop. My first car I worked on there was a 1973 Pantera and never went back to collision. Later on I ha

d an offer to work in a Corvette restoration shop outside of Madison. In 2007 met Justin Cole from working on his 1957 fuel injected hydraulic top Corvette before he opened up Benchmark Classics. I was the body specialist at Benchmark Classics where I was involved with the completion of a 1948 2 door Tucker convertible prototype. In November 2011 it was time for me to open up my own shop "Cruzin Classics LLC" where I work on classics, fiberglass, rust repair and repaints along with air brushing and custom paint jobs.

It's not to often I get a call to work on a tractor. One of my clients likes Oliver's, This one is a prototype 1960 1900. He was having some issues with the hood cracking at the mounting points so I welded some plates on the inside and hopefully that takes car of his issue. A little side not, I worked with a guy from Australia and he called all American cars Tractors because they use coarse threaded bolts for assembly.🙃😎

Here is a little update on the 1980 Z28 and the mechanicals going in. It's taken a bit. But speed isn't a factor when you want to keep your client happy for the end results. Details of everything installed will come at a later date.

Its kind of crazy thinking I am in my 15th year in business and have been in the restoring classic cars for over 45 years and will as long as I can. I couldn't be happier doing so. I put together a video of some of the cars Cruzin Classics LLC has restored or repaired in the past 14 years. A big Thank You to all of my clients that have trusted me with there classics.

To all my clients and friends.

BIG shout out goes to Rodney Witt with his 1966 Chevelle that was restored at Cruzin Classics LLC for getting picked for the Auto Value Parts Stores 2026 Calendar. My shop has been using the Waunakee Auto Value store for things I need and they have never disappointing me when looking for something. This is my 15th year in business and still loving what I am doing. This is just a cherry on top for something like this.

For those familiar with Hot Rod Radio, This 1979 Ford F100 Custom short box belonged to Arlo's wife. The new owner Jared came to ask a few question around 3 or 4 months ago about getting some new metal for the floors. Since the weather has been good enough I had him drop it off and installed some new floor pans. He was able to take it home this week for a good winter snooze. 😎

A few months ago I received a phone call about this 1970 240Z. He bought it needing it to be wired and get the engine running. The owner wanted Cruzin Classics LLC to do the work but I couldn't because of the work I have in my shop and the waiting list as well. He asked if I could go and have a look at it at his house. We worked out a time and I went to have a look. After seeing the car as it looked to be a nice restoration and needed some work to make it complete, I made a few calls and got him someone that could get what he needed. He drove it to my shop last week for me to see it. I would have liked to do it but when I can't I will help anyone the best I can to get a classic back on the road. 😎
