Cruzin Classics LLC This is how I got started I began my restoration career in my fatherโ€™s garage working on MOPARs in the 1960s.

My favorite car back then was my uncleโ€™s 1968 Coronet 500 Convertible. I also raced a 1971 Satellite at Columbus 151 Speedway and Capital Super Speedway in the late 70's and early 80's. I worked in a collision shop for around a year and a half and received an offer to work at a local restoration shop. My first car I worked on there was a 1973 Pantera and never went back to collision. Later on I ha

d an offer to work in a Corvette restoration shop outside of Madison. In 2007 met Justin Cole from working on his 1957 fuel injected hydraulic top Corvette before he opened up Benchmark Classics. I was the body specialist at Benchmark Classics where I was involved with the completion of a 1948 2 door Tucker convertible prototype. In November 2011 it was time for me to open up my own shop "Cruzin Classics LLC" where I work on classics, fiberglass, rust repair and repaints along with air brushing and custom paint jobs.

For people that follow my page. Here is a little background as to how I got to liking what I do. 1st my grandfather that passed in 1972 taught me patients as he gave me things to take apart then put them back together without leftover screws. ๐Ÿ˜€Next the cool car that my Uncle Dave with his 1968 Coronet 500 Convertible. Getting rides and holding on.๐Ÿ™ƒ He was my last uncle I had and passed 2 years ago. My dad always looking to race anyone even if he had a station wagon and always tinkering, fixing to get what ever he was working on going. He passed in 2005. ๐Ÿ™So this pic is a little of all three of them. I remember seeing the wheel covers in my uncles garage. Well one day he showed up to my shop and asked if I wanted grandpa's wheel covers from his 1957 Chevy. Well I said SURE, and those black roller skates with wooden wheels? Those are my dads from the late forties early fifties. I hope they look down every now and again and smile because if it wasn't for them I wouldn't be doing what I am today.๐Ÿ˜Ž

We stopped out at the shop this morning to drop a few things off and I seen this big bird in a tree down by pond. Turns out is a Great Blue Heron, I didn't know that they perched in trees. Pretty damn cool!!! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

It's not to often I get a call to work on a tractor. One of my clients likes Oliver's, This one is a prototype 1960 1900. He was having some issues with the hood cracking at the mounting points so I welded some plates on the inside and hopefully that takes car of his issue. A little side not, I worked with a guy from Australia and he called all American cars Tractors because they use coarse threaded bolts for assembly.๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ˜Ž
