Time for the Next Chapter…
A heartfelt thank you to Rob — for your unwavering dedication, tireless work ethic, the countless late nights, and the personal sacrifices you’ve made along the way. Emergency Lighting & Electronics could not have been built without you!!!!!! Your vision, leadership, and commitment have shaped everything we’ve accomplished.
As of Monday, June 2, 2025, we officially sold the business. This decision, while necessary, has been bittersweet for us both.
This journey has been over 25 years in the making, with nearly 20 of those years officially on paper. It’s a legacy we’ve built together, and saying goodbye is not something we take lightly.
Due to a strict NDA (non-disclosure agreement), we’ve had to keep this news under wraps until the deal closed. We know this silence may have felt unusual, but trust us when we say it was the hardest secret we’ve ever had to keep.Even now, the reality of the transition hasn’t fully set in.
For the month of June, we’ll continue in our current roles, and Rob will serve in a consulting capacity for the next year to ensure a smooth handover.
From day one, Git Lit has been built around strong family values and a tight-knit, team-oriented culture. That spirit has not only been the foundation of our internal team but also how we've served our loyal customers. Exceptional service and a positive experience have always been at the core of everything we do.
We are incredibly proud of everything we’ve accomplished together, and words can’t fully express our gratitude to everyone who’s supported the business and us over the years. To our amazing Git Lit team, customers, and friends: We will miss you more than you know!!!
