Better late than never, right?

A few weeks ago, we enjoyed a quick trip to Iron Mountain, MI to visit BOSS Snowplow. We spent one day going over service, install and sales training. As well as a quick tour of the BOSS manufacturing facility.

We also had the chance to “nerd out” over Michigans unique State Police vehicles.

This was a very cool experience to learn and connect with BOSS and other companies in the industry. These connections will help us provide the BEST service to our customers this snow removal season!

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Wendall from the Yutan Volunteer Fire Department. This loss hits close to home for our entire team.
The Yutan Volunteer Fire Department has been one of our longest-standing customers, but our relationship goes far beyond business. We have the privilege of working alongside their members on Fire/Rescue scenes, and every member of our team is also a member of a local volunteer fire department. We understand firsthand the bond shared by those who serve their communities.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Wendall’s family, friends, and all of the members of the Yutan Volunteer Fire Department during this difficult time.

In preparation for the upcoming snow season, we will be CLOSED until Monday 8/31/2026. The entire team has taken a trip to BOSS SNOWPLOW in Iron Mountain, MI for Sales and Service training.

As many of you know, we are very particular on brands we offer for sales and install here at Elite Vehicle Outfitters. We believe in the brands that we offer to our customers for a few reasons:
- We've been through multiple manufacturers for certain products, so we know what does and doesn't work.
- We believe in US based manufacturing. Although it's difficult for everything to be manufactured here, the core product you receive should be made here at home.
- We listen to our customers, and if they prefer a brand because of quality and product selection, we will bring on that line to better support them.

Recently we brought on Hi Viz Lighting, who operates FireTech and Whirl-E-Bird. They have been growing in the Fire Industry, and it's hard to find a firetruck without one of their Brow or Scene lights.

Recently Hi Viz has made the decision to bring their manufacturing process home to the US, and their foreign partners are playing hard ball, by withholding tooling and intellectual property that Hi Viz has spent years working on.

I'm asking you to take the time to read through their informational website, as well as send a letter to your local government officials. This is a very easy process, and it only takes a few minutes. This may help protect other manufacturers in the future from a similar issue.

As we embark on our "long weekend", let’s take a moment to reflect on its importance.

While we appreciate the extra day off, quality time with loved ones, and the chance to relax, we must honor the courageous men and women who have made immense sacrifices. Many have given their lives, while others have endured mental and emotional hardship. Their bravery has afforded us the freedom to live our lives with comfort and security.

Our business partnerships with law enforcement and fire agencies have given us the opportunity to meet individuals from various walks of life, including those with a military background who have made significant sacrifices.

May these flags symbolize the true spirit of this weekend and the values that our nation holds dear.

🚔Another one wrapped up for the Butler County Sheriff’s Office!🚔

This 2025 Ford Police Interceptor Utility will be hitting the road soon!

We understand these vehicles are offices for most of the end users, and we strive to make their office work the best for them! This unit features a full complement of lighting from Federal Signal and Soundoff Signal, a Havis VSX console, and a Setina single prisoner partition.

Better late than never!

We would like to extend a huge “Thank you!” to the Bellwood Volunteer Fire Department for allowing us to complete 2 RAM 3500 brush trucks! These were delivered some time ago, and they never got the attention they deserve.

These trucks were delivered to us with beds and skid-units in place, and we took it from there. They both feature a full compliment of Federal Signal lighting, a Gamber Johnson console, and a front scene light from Rigid Industries.

Both trucks are built with form and function in mind!
