More than 320,000 vehicles manufactured by Nissan North America, Inc. have been recalled due to an engine failure risk, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Hyundai and Kia are recalling over 330,000 vehicles, including certain 2021-2024 Kia K5 and 2020-2023 Hyundai Sonata models, because a faulty purge control valve can cause the fuel tank to expand and contact hot exhaust components, leading to a potential melt and fuel leak. This issue can be identified by a "check engine" light, popping sounds from the fuel tank, or rough engine performance. To fix it, dealers will replace the valve and inspect the fuel tank, replacing it if necessary.
