Tonight is Christmas Eve.
And while the trees are lit, the windows glow, and the Valley settles in for a quiet nightโฆ thereโs something missing.
Thereโs no snow on the ground!
No crunch under your boots. No white dust shimmering in the headlights. No classic Alaska Christmas postcard outside your window.
And if youโre like us you feel it.
Because up here, snow isnโt just weather. Itโs tradition. Itโs memory. Itโs magic.
But maybe thatโs the thing.
Maybe the magic this year isnโt falling from the skyโฆ maybe itโs walking through our doors every day.
Back in 2013, we opened Payless Car Sales with a simple mission:
Treat people right.
Do honest business.
Be part of something real.
That mission followed us to the Valley in 2021 and if weโre honest, we didnโt know then just how much this place would change us.
Now here we areโฆ five Christmases later.
And itโs not the snow that makes this time of year feel like Christmas, itโs you.
You, who trusted us to help you find the right car when life was changing.
You, who showed up with a story to share, a handshake to offer or a smile on a tough day.
You, who showed up, believed in us, supported our crazy dreams, and made this more than a job.
This Valley didnโt just grow on usโฆ it claimed us.
But letโs not forget the ones behind the scenes, the real engine of this whole operation:
To our sales team, who donโt leave until the paperworkโs perfect and the customerโs smiling.
To our techs and detailers, who work in the cold, the dark, the rain, the dust making every vehicle shine like a present on Christmas morning.
To our lot crew, who keep things moving, lifting, hauling, jumping rigs, and juggling keys like itโs second nature.
To our office squad, steady, sharp, organized, the brains behind the scenes.
To our service and collision teams, where miracles happen behind garage doors and busted bumpers come back like new.
To our leadership team, who carry it all, quietly and fiercely.
You are Payless.
You are the reason we made it to Christmas again.
This year didnโt come easy for a lot of folks.
Prices are high, snow is missing, and sometimes it feels like the whole worldโs just trying to stay afloat.
But you still showed up.
You still bought the car. Made the trip. Supported local. Trusted us.
And that?
Thatโs the kind of miracle no storm can bring and no weather can take away.
So tonight, wherever you are, slow down for a second.
Look around the room. Hug someone a little longer. Say the thing youโve been meaning to say.
Because these are the good old days, the ones weโll talk about years later.
