Let's talk moose!
It is important that we remember that we share a home with these wonderful creatures. With the recent snow storms it can be quite difficult on our moose for traveling 😕
You may notice more moose around our roadways. (Especially young moose)
It can be very difficult to avoid collisions with moose.
However, there are a few things we can do to TRY and prevent these horrific accidents.
Make sure your headlights are cleared of snow and dirt for better visibility.
Pay attention! We are in their territory. Moose are not something new!
Flash your hazards to warn others of upcoming moose!
It is kind of an unspoken but known thing as Alaskans. If you flash your hazards people will know to be more cautious ⚠️

Let's do all we can to protect our wild life! Not just moose
