Cadillac Lyriq Price Revealed, Luxury EV Sold Out In Hours

The 2023 Cadillac Lyriq, an electric midsize SUV, will be available to order May 19 with a starting price of $62,990 and four colors to choose from, with deliveries to start this fall. This follows the sale of an undisclosed number of 2023 Cadillac Lyriq Debut Editions which are being built now in Spring Hill, Tenn. , as well as Shanghai, to get them into customer hands this summer. The limited run was sold out in less than 10 minutes, Global Cadillac Vice President Rory Harvey said.

Early adopters got a screaming deal.

2023 Toyota Camry Nightshade Edition Gets Even Moodier

Nightshade is Toyota’s term for a trend that has swept car design in recent years – vehicles with darkened trim. Like Toyota’s other Nightshade Editions (even the Prius gets one), the Camry Nightshade comes with a black grille, badges, mirror caps, and black trim around the headlights and tail lights.

Toyota brings its blacked-out Nightshade Edition treatment to the 2023 Camry with a twist -- 19-inch bronze wheels.

While an all-new Toyota Camry shouldn't be too far around the corner, the midsize sedan in its current form is still getting some love. For example, the 2023 Toyota Camry Nightshade Edition is back, this time distinguished by bronze-colored wheels and the choice of three paint colors, including a new Reservoir Blue. Like in years past, the Nightshade is a factory styling package that changes the looks of the Camry, bringing unique exterior details and generally darker trim.

Unlike its namesake, this Camry offers up (some) unexpected visual invigoration.

Mercedes Warns Owners: Stop Driving 2006-2012 ML, GL, R-Class.

That’s a line you never want to hear. But it’s what Mercedes-Benz said this morning in announcing an unusually urgent recall campaign. The company has asked owners of certain 2006-2012 model year ML, GL, and R-Class vehicles to stop driving their cars until Mercedes has the chance to repair a brake defect.

The 2023 Toyota Venza Hybrid Goes Dark With New Nightshade Edition.

The Venza had disappeared for a while, but was brought back to life in 2021 as a hybrid-only CUV. It's an excellent little utility with great gas mileage and, offering owners a slightly more premium feel. Apparently, Toyota seems to think that's not good enough and wants to attract the cool kids to the 2023 Venza with a new Nightshade Edition. Will it be a shot in the dark or will it attract those young, savvy owners Toyota is searching for?
