1936 Lincoln Model K Coupe (by LeBaron) - more pics 👇

Among America's most exclusive automobiles during the Great Depression, this custom-bodied luxury vehicle commanded extraordinary prices when new cars cost a fraction of today's amounts. LeBaron created just 25 examples of their two-passenger coupe design in 1936, with only four remaining in existence today.

The design featured spectacular proportions with a relatively small, close-coupled roofline positioned at the end of a long, powerful hood, balanced by a gracefully sloping rear deck on an immense 135-inch wheelbase chassis.

LeBaron specialized in coupes as part of Lincoln's coachbuilder program, with prices ranging from $4,200 to the mid-$5,000s. Power came from a 414 cubic inch V12 engine producing 150 horsepower at 3,800 rpm.

The Model K's days were numbered as Lincoln introduced the more affordable Zephyr in 1936, leading to declining sales despite the K's prestige. Total Model K production reached 1,515 examples in 1936.

1966 Mercedes-Benz 230 SL 'Pagoda'

Designer Paul Braq created this influential luxury roadster that would establish the template for all future Mercedes-Benz SL models when it debuted in 1963. The distinctive concave hardtop earned it the "Pagoda" nickname and became an instantly recognizable design element.

Built on a shortened W111 sedan platform, the W113 replaced both the exotic 300 SL and the underpowered 190 SL. Mercedes implemented innovative technology including fuel injection, disc brakes, and specially designed semi-radial tires.

The 230 SL nearly matched the lap times of a Ferrari 250 GT with a V12 engine on twisty circuits, demonstrating serious performance capabilities beyond its refined appearance. The fuel-injected 2.3-liter inline-six produced 148 horsepower, enabling 0-60 mph acceleration in 9.7 seconds and a top speed of 124 mph.

Production totaled 19,831 examples between 1963 and 1967, with less than a quarter sold in America. Notable owners included John Lennon, who owned a dark blue 1965 model.

**Forest Find Z/28 – A Hidden Muscle Legend Rediscovered**

The "Forest Find Z/28" refers to a rare and iconic Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 discovered abandoned or hidden in a forested area — often untouched for decades. These barn or forest finds stir the imagination of muscle car enthusiasts due to their rarity, originality, and the stories they hold.

Originally produced from 1967 through the early '70s, the Camaro Z/28 was Chevrolet’s answer to the Ford Mustang in the Trans-Am racing series. Packed with a high-revving 302 cubic-inch V8 engine, a 4-speed manual transmission, and performance upgrades like heavy-duty suspension and front disc brakes, the Z/28 was a track-bred street machine.

When a Z/28 is discovered deep in the woods, usually covered in rust, moss, and decades of decay, it's like stepping into a time capsule. Despite the neglect, enthusiasts see gold — especially if it has matching numbers and original parts. Restoring such a car takes effort, but the reward is immense: a genuine piece of American muscle history.

The Forest Find Z/28 isn't just a car — it’s a rediscovered legend, often brought back to life with love, sweat, and the roar of a revived V8.

The **1970 Dodge Challenger Convertible** is one of the most stylish and desirable Mopars of the muscle car era. Introduced as Dodge’s entry into the pony car market, the Challenger shared the E-body platform with the Plymouth Barracuda but offered a longer wheelbase and more upscale feel. The convertible body style added an open-air freedom that made it both aggressive and elegant.

Under the hood, buyers had a wide range of engines to choose from—starting with the 225 Slant-6 and climbing all the way to the legendary **426 HEMI**. A popular and well-balanced choice was the **383 Magnum V8**, delivering strong performance with everyday drivability. Paired with a 4-speed manual or TorqueFlite automatic, the Challenger convertible offered a thrilling experience.

Only **2,543 Challenger convertibles** were produced in 1970, making it a rare collector’s gem today—especially in R/T trim or with big-block engines. With its long hood, bold grille, and power top, it captured the spirit of classic American muscle in open-air form.
