Long Post Alert🚨
Saturday was our State Qualifier and we had a fabulous weather AND racing day! Mother Nature has not been kind to us weather wise this season but I think ALL Indiana tracks have suffered.
We acknowledge there was a repost, for that we apologize. Moto Maker was not playing nice because of the date change/presigns.
First off, we would like to say Thank You to all the racers and their families that came out on Saturday. With the rescheduled event we weren't sure what to expect. What we got was great weather, awesome racing, and smiles on faces. The last one is what we are most proud of. Thank you so much for cleaning up your pit areas and being respectful of our new bathrooms.
We would like to send out a special Thank You to all of our volunteers that made this event happen. Nobody on this list gets paid and most don't get to see their kid race. This is what our 2026 crew looked like:
Tyler Monesmith our T.O.
Our resident announcer Glenn Waterland is also our IT guy, hooking us up with cameras at the finish line, working the dirt, managing the timing, working registration, and spending all his spare time here.
"The Man, the Myth, the Legend": Mr. Dan Rumple making a special appearance and rockin the mic
Nate Morley our gate starter
Patrick Ambroziak and Ron Żurek staging, & gatekeeping the ramp
Hayley Waterland ran our Concession Stand along with Daxton Prater, Jack Fitzgerald, and Cameron Mcness. I can't think of a year where our line ran so smoothly! Hayley also helped with the finish line cameras, stocking concessions, and doing all the the pre and post race clean up.
Veronica Leslie for scoring
Jeanne Zurek for registration and scoring
Ben Leslie and Brice Poling for working the turns
Steve Madison for the pulled pork, w**d whipping, and emptying garbages.
Shanna Busz for returning to hydration station, and the raffle table
Lexi Hunt for helping with set up, and the hydration station
Donna Alensonorin making a return appearance at the preregistration table & the trophy table
Jennifer Suarez for working the trophy table
Jacqui Zimmerman for being wherever was needed
Linda Zurek for working the presign table, and mobile 50/50
Meagan Pritchard for being our lead medical personnel along with Select Physical Therapy
Also our collaboration with Red Bull was so cool. Hope you all enjoyed the free drinks!
Now for our elite crew, the dirt movers/glue spreaders (track crew)👏
Adam Strieby-The one in charge
Steve Madison
Joseph Madison
T.O. Tyler
Dylan Waterland
Glenn Waterland
Logan Zurek
An extra special shout out to our mini helpers Jade Waterland and Braxton Good for helping Linda with the 50/50 AND being our Moto sheet runners.
Thank you EVERYONE for a successful Indiana State Qualifier Race 2026. Please come back and visit soon!!
