🚸 Keeping Kids Safe 🚸

We’re proud to be helping our local school districts take another step toward keeping our students safe by installing crossing arms on the front of school buses.

These crossing arms provide an extra layer of protection for students as they cross in front of the bus, helping make their journey to and from school safer.

For us, it’s about more than just the work. It’s about doing our part for our community and helping keep our kids safe.

We’re out and about visiting local fire departments, inspecting their emergency apparatus and making sure everything is up to Maine State inspection standards and, most importantly, safe and ready for service.

The men and women who respond when our communities need them most deserve equipment they can count on. We’re proud to help keep their emergency apparatus safe, reliable, and ready to roll. 🇺🇸

🛞 Another upgrade here at Copeland’s! 🛞

Mike from Coats stopped by to spend some time with the crew and show us the ins and outs of our new, updated tire balancer with Road Force technology.

This machine can handle tires up to 44” and gives us a better look at how a tire and wheel will perform under real road conditions.

🚒 A true piece of American firefighting history stopped by Copeland's today.

This is the White Ghost, the famous hand-drawn pumper of Lady Washington Engine Company No. 40 from New York. Known for its distinctive white-and-gold paint, the White Ghost became one of the most recognizable volunteer fire engines of the 1800s and played a role in New York's colorful firefighting history.

This remarkable piece was beautifully restored by Andy Swift, preserving its craftsmanship and history for future generations.

Today, TJ Copeland is transporting the White Ghost to Manhattan, where it will become part of a museum collection so its history can be shared for years to come.

It's not every day we get the opportunity to see—and be a small part of preserving—a piece of American history.
