If you were raised in the south, someone probably mentioned that it is impolite to talk about politics and religion in the workplace. If they also added college football to that list, it might have been that the season was not in their team's favor. 😉🏈

$18,995 sounds like a steal for a Grand Wagoneer and a vintage model in excellent condition still fetches $20k-$40k. Kudos to the original owners out there still driving their investment. Adjusted for inflation, $18,995 in 1983 is worth $63,682.45 today. The 2026 models have creature comforts that the 1983 model never dreamed of, and the starting price for a 2026 Grand Wagoneer—$63,995. The luxury 4x4 has come a long way in improvements, but not a long way in cost.

If you are lucky enough to have tickets to the Motul Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta today, you are lucky enough! 🥳Of all the sporting events that were options on fall days in the 70’s, none generated enthusiasm like a trip to Road Atlanta.🏎️

Troncalli Motors had a major remodeling in 1983 and it was a festive celebration. 96 Rock broadcasted live from the event and gave out Home Cooking II albums featuring local bands. When we see an upside down 96 Rock plate, we-know-you-know the legendary Mark & Steve morning show on the ride in, and the sound of Kady Kiely on the way home.

Thomas Edison once said, "I never did a day's work in my life. It was all fun." and although it isn't usually just fun and games around here, we know that having a strong team of people who enjoy working together is essential. This photo from our 2007 company calendar is proof because today we celebrate John Richards' 20th 🎂🥳anniversary with Troncalli Automotive Group, next month we will celebrate Chris Pearce's 23rd anniversary, and we celebrated Eric Beam's 43rd anniversary last May.

In 1981, Datsun was the official car of the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons’ season ended with a 7–9 record and a second-place finish in the NFC West division, the Datsun 280ZX, however, was named Motor Trend’s Import Car of the Year. We will take that as the win for 1981, and hope the Falcons football season takes the win for 2026! 🏈

The first Labor Day holiday was celebrated on Tuesday, September 5, 1882, in New York City, in accordance with the plans of the Central Labor Union. By 1894, 23 more states had adopted the holiday, and on June 28, 1894, President Grover Cleveland signed a law making the first Monday in September of each year a national holiday.
Labor Day is an annual celebration of the social and economic achievements of American workers and we wish everyone a safe and relaxing Labor Day Weekend!😎

Thank you to our Service Director, John Richards, for actively maintaining our longstanding commitment to local student automotive programs. Through innovative initiatives like Jackson County’s Empower C3 Automotive Program, and Forsyth County’s Automotive Technology program at FCHS, students are introduced to fields where A.I. won’t be taking jobs from skilled technicians, and there will always be career opportunities available.
