⚡ DIELECTRIC TESTING FOR CRANES & BUCKET TRUCKS ⚡

Equipment that works near electrical hazards deserves careful inspection. Ossco Group provides dielectric testing for cranes and bucket trucks to help evaluate their insulating components and identify issues that need attention.

IT'S TUESDAY SO LET’S TORQUE ABOUT IT — DAY 1

DIESEL ENGINES DON’T NEED SPARK PLUGS.

Wait... what? 🤔

Unlike gasoline engines, diesels don’t use spark plugs to ignite the fuel.

Instead, a diesel engine compresses air so intensely that the air gets HOT. When diesel fuel is injected into that highly compressed air, the heat causes it to ignite.

That process is called compression ignition, and it’s one of the reasons diesel engines are built so damn tough.

🔥 No spark required
💪 Serious torque

And before somebody says it...

Yes, diesels can have glow plugs. But glow plugs help with cold starting. They aren’t spark plugs and don’t continuously ignite the fuel while the engine is running.
