This beetle was at two other shops before coming here for a stalling problem. Found three other problems likely contributing to the errors made during diagnosis. Parts were replaced that probably weren't bad. But the mistake was found and the faulty cylinder temp sensor has been replaced and she runs great, now to figure out what happened when the alternator was replaced because the fan is striking the shroud and is noisy as heck.

I'll never say I know it all or that I'm the best VW mechanic but I can definitely say I am better than whoever did this...

The Schnell Snail GTI rallycross missile took first place at the first New England SCCA night-time rallycross event at Okemo mountain blue lot. 14 drivers in modified front wheel drive class! The 2003 GTI with 205k miles didn't miss a beat. It is an absolute weapon!
