Shark Byte (Bayliss 73’), has officially wrapped up her full paint transformation and is looking sharp! Every detail was refreshed to give her a clean finish that’s ready for the water!

She also got an upgrade to her stabilization system, replacing her Seakeeper 9 units with new Seakeeper 10s for even greater performance and comfort on the water.

We can’t wait to see Shark Byte back where she belongs, chasing fish on the water.

This has been a fascinating program to be apart of. For fun, we tagged a sail fish in Coasta Rica alongside The International Game Fish Association - IGFA . This tag is set to pop in early August, and we are excited to see where she has gone! It is amazing to learn where different species travel in the Pacific.

Blue marlins are cool, but so are sails.

A big thanks to The International Game Fish Association - IGFA and Livit for making this come to life.🎣

A milestone is in the books for Hull 43 (Bayliss 77’)! The team has successfully executed another “Hull Flip”, safely turning her right side up in the slings. Since then, she has been moved back into the hull shop, where the next phase of her build officially begins.

There’s nothing quite like the perspective you get when a new build hangs in the slings! A big shoutout to our team for all of their prep work and ex*****on to make the flip run smoothly. Now that she’s right-side up, the fun really starts!

Swipe to the last slide of this post to see our Hull Shop team having some fun after the arrival for Hull 43!

It’s not always about the big boats at Bayliss.

Check out our 27’ pilot boat who just turned 10 years old. Over the last decade, she’s assisted with sea trials, captured running shots, and supported the team on the water. We figured 10 years of hard work was the perfect excuse for a fresh coat of paint.

From the drawing board to the final coat of paint, there’s pride that comes with building boats right here in the USA. Today, we’re pausing the tools and stepping away from the docks to celebrate the freedom that allows us to pursue this craft everyday.

Whether you’re fishing, spending the day at the sandbar, or watching the fireworks from the cockpit, we hope your holiday weekend is filled with good company and calm seas. Wishing a safe and happy 4th of July to all of our owners, crew, and friends!

Hull 42 (Bayliss 78’) is officially out of the hull shop.

Watching a new build make this move never gets old, and the team had her settled into her new home before lunch. To make it happen, they pulled off a tightly choreographed “boat shuffle”.

7:30 AM. Hull 40 loaded onto the trailer.
8:00 AM. Hull 40 off the trailer and into the slings.
8:30 AM. Trailer backed under Hull 42.
9:00 AM. Hull 42 rolled out of the hull shop.
9:30 AM. Crane on site, fuel tank dropped right into place.
10:00 AM. Hull 42 off the trailer and into her new home.
11:30 AM. Hull 40 back on the trailer.
12:00 PM. Hull 40 tucked in behind her, stern to stern.

She’ll call this home for at least the next year. When it’s time for paint, the mechanical team gets to do it all over again to get her back across the street!
