Huge thanks to Paddack's Wrecker & Heavy Transport for the help today!
Their driver Jeremy was amazing and had already found a shop that was willing and able to help us out getting back on the road on a Saturday afternoon!

Deputy Samuelson got a very special visitor this week! He was reunited with his K-9 Bosco, and they got to spend some time together in his ICU room.
Keep the prayers coming as he continues his road to recovery.

Today’s turnout was amazing for Jon and his family! We left the LaPorte County Sheriff’s office, traveled to Franciscan Hospital in Michigan City, then continued to Memorial Hospital in South Bend where Jon is at. Once we arrived at Memorial we all sang Happy Birthday to Jon for his 33rd birthday that is today!

Recovery of Stolen Copper and Aluminum Wiring Valued at Over $320,000

Pulaski County, IN — The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office has recovered a large amount of stolen copper and aluminum wiring believed to be connected to recent thefts from Bechtel, valued at over $320,000.

During the investigation, deputies located a suspect truck and trailer near County Road 550 East and 200 South near Knox, Indiana, and obtained a search warrant for the associated property. While conducting surveillance, the vehicle left the property and deputies conducted a traffic stop, detaining two individuals. One has been identified as Michael Nicholas Watson (DOB: 09/07/1989).

Officers later executed the search warrant and located large quantities of copper and aluminum wiring in various conditions, consistent with theft-related activity. The materials were seized as evidence and are believed to be linked to multiple incidents.

The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be pending. The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Indiana State Police – Lowell Post, Starke County Sheriff’s Department and John’s Garage of Wanatah.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
