I had some work at the ABATE Labor Day Rally that I absolutely hadn't considered but did what I could with the resources available. Cutting back a fender on one of the dirt drag bikes was not on my radar. He didn't win the class but had some good runs once his tire cleared the fender. It was fun to watch the bikes I was able to help with run down the track.

Made it through my first year at the ABATE Labor Day Rally as a vendor! The heat was rough, it's much nicer changing tires in my air conditioned shop! Had a good time anyway. Met some great people and had some great friends help out. I have a page full of notes on what I should have brought and what to plan for next year.

BLUF: Direct Cycle Parts is on my 💩 list

I'm generally not one to badmouth another business but Direct Cycle Parts has earned it.
I ordered brake switches May 12th, because they showed in stock, CC was charged the 14th. Today, July 2nd, I finally got through to a person. Turns out the switches where not in stock, they expect them in tomorrow. No call or email letting me know what was up. I understand global logistics is AFU but you have to communicate!
