🔥🚍 Attention RV Owners! 🚍🔥

As the temperatures drop and we all want to stay warm, we must emphasize that using electric space heaters in your RV is not recommended. Here’s why:

1. Not Designed for High Wattage: Most RV electrical systems are not equipped to handle the high wattage required by electric space heaters(unless on a dedicated circuit) , which can lead to electrical overload and fire hazards.

2. Fire Risk: Space heaters can become a fire hazard, especially if positioned too close to flammable materials like blankets, curtains, or upholstery. They can easily tip over or malfunction in an RV setup.

3. Carbon Monoxide Concerns: Even with propane heaters, ensuring proper ventilation is critical to avoid carbon monoxide buildup. Space heaters are not viable for indoor use without the correct safety measures.

4. Moisture Issues: Using space heaters can create condensation inside your RV, leading to potential mold problems and damage to your interior.

5. Reliability of Built-in Heating Systems: RVs are equipped with built-in heating systems designed specifically for safe and effective heat distribution. Relying on these systems is the best way to ensure warmth without the risks of space heaters.

🌟 Outdoor Cooking Safety Tips:

⦿ Choose a Clear Cooking Spot: Set up at least 10 feet away from your RV, picnic tables, or any structures. Keep kids and pets away from the cooking area.

⦿ Check Your Gear: Inspect grills, stoves, and deep fryers before use. Ensure propane tanks are securely connected and not leaking.

⦿ Keep an Eye on the Weather: Avoid cooking outdoors if it’s windy, as gusts can cause flare-ups or topple equipment.

⦿ Have a Fire Extinguisher Ready: A Class B or multipurpose extinguisher is best for grease fires.
