Music to our ears over here! We’re starting to welcome in some of the 2025 models, here we has an incredible Cayman 4.0GTS! This 1978 SC came to us with a very heartfelt ask from the original owner. “Save my baby”. After sitting for over 10years it was time to get this SC back in running order for the original owner to enjoy again. The fear of lofty price tags of “restoration” was a factor in why this car sat after a no starting condition.

It’s not always necessary to start pulling out engines, and reinventing the car, sometimes simple inspections of simple systems can reveal simple solutions. Obviously it’s a Porsche, nothing is ever as easy as we Walpole like them to be, but keeping a car in one piece and getting it back on the road is always rewarding. Especially when you can help a customer realize there dream with a cost effective solution.

Do not allow things to become catastrophic! Something as simple as a serpentine belt failure can become extremely costly. Inspecting a water pump for leaking, led us to finding this incredibly worn belt. Not only that all the pulleys had become compromised! Finding, and replacing these items, have avoided the possibility of damage to some vital components!
