Today marks a special day in history known to many as Memorial Day. This day is not about a kickoff to summer, this day is about remembering those who have gave their lives while serving in the American armed forces. Memorial Day was sanctioned through the Uniform Monday Holiday Act in the late 60’s designating it to fall on the last Monday of May. This was done to ensure that you remember those who walked before you so you could run free. Take a moment and pray for those who had lost through the ultimate sacrifice. From all of us here at Walt’s, happy Memorial Day!
