We got Turners show truck fixed up with a
Super-Stock 68RFE

Mr. Hafner got fixed up with one of our billet valve bodies after throwing a code for a psi switch

most shops throw a solenoid pack in it only to discover the code comes back, and by that time the damage is already done and the customer now needs a new transmission, reason being? One clutch is on and acting like a brake pad fighting another clutch pack essentially, That psi switch code it’s throwing is bc fluid is entering a circut it should not be in, typically it’s a worn out SSV valve allowing fluid to blow by the valve lands and enter into another clutch circut, but we see it a good bit when guys are towing their campers or heavy loads, when these cummins grunt down low they produce some torque, and all that torque has to go through the transmission, the factory valve body channel plate is weak casting, so it flexes a lot! The vb has numerous other flaws as well that we correct as well, but we swap that cheap casting out with a one inch thick billet piece, flat sand the other half of vb to ensure it’s perfectly flat and straight for optimal seal

What better way to celebrate 250 years of freedom then with a engine that screams MERICA 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

6.7 cummins with a lot of fuel and even more air, on the old engine we found signs of bad fretting on the main caps, these compounds produce so much torque so quickly it just twist everything up, we decided to machine the block out to 14mm main studs, billet main caps that stand taller and a real thick girdle to tie everything in together, we also added a wastegate dump to cross over pipe so once on full tilt exhaust gas can flow around the smaller turbo and not bottle neck drive pressure, also we may spray nitrous for a little razzle dazzle, the girdle was designed to be recessed into the block but with taller mains we left it partially out, this caused the oil pickup to not clear the studs or girdle so we made a 1/2” spacer and got the pickup cleared perfectly, then we realized the oil pan wasn’t gonna fit with the raised pickup, so we called king speed and spoke with them got measurements etc and they make us a oil pan spacer and the rest of the builds pretty simple

Wagler rods, cast pistons, arp 14mm main, 625 head studs, fire ring head, side draft intake, manton springs and pushrods, 188-220 cam, s472/s488, 45mm gate, ported head, oversized valves, 1/2” girdle, wagler billet main caps, coolant bypass, S&S 14mm hs pump, S&S 250% sticks with body mods

It may take a little longer but we’ll check twice the stuff, we don’t care if it’s a busted old farm truck or a $100,000 pickup, every single truck gets the same attention, that’s the difference!

simple reseal and inspection saved this customer a engine, cracks on cam gear would’ve only got worse until it completely broke and skipped timing, broke some valves, busted some pistons, trashed a head etc

Slanging em out! Autopilot on, and knocking down the order list, my guys are wide open on the repair side and we’re beyond blessed by the good Lord to wake up and do what we love day in and day out! 🙏

Couple last minute jobs this past week,

We go Mr. Humberto fixed up with a super-stock 68rfe and managed to get it covered under insurance free of charge 👌🏻

We also got Ms. Morris’s air conditioning back up and going after having the truck in a few weeks back for different repairs and her telling us about driving the truck to Texas and back with no air sucked, we then got it back in and found it needed a new hvac module, so we replaced, reprogrammed and checked the system, good as new

We do it all don’t hesitate to call or msg us, no matter how small the job is or how big a job is we’re more then happy to help anyway we can
