Happy Birthday to Foundry Street Garage and to our fearless leader Ed Ryan this month. Both Ed and Foundry Street Garage were "born / founded" in September 1963 and both are now turning 63... (their birth year).

Whom would've thought we would see this in our lifetime! We are blessed for all of our customers! We couldn't celebrate this great landmark in Wakefield without each and everyone of you, and to those that travel from out of state to have us service your vehicles...we so appreciate this level of commitement for your car care.

We are grateful for each and everyone of you...

Enjoy the Fall weather that is on its' way, we could you a little bit of a chill after the crazy hot summer we had.

Labor Day is approaching and we at Foundry Street Garage want to wish everyone a safe and fun holiday weekend!

The shop will be closed Friday (9/4) through Monday (9/7) for the holiday weekend!

We at Foundry Street Garage are absolutely blessed to have the wonderful, caring and generous customers that we have at Foundry Street Garage, generations of customers!!

We received so many phone calls and texts from so many after seeing all the photos of the blazing fire that took place Friday afternoon. This was one of the scariest fires I have seen due to the nature of all the black smoke. We pray that no one is affected by the toxic smoke that filled the streets of Wakefield, AND a MAJOR THANK YOU TO ALL THE RESPONSE TEAMS THAT BATTLED THIS BEAST!!! YOU ARE ALWAYS IN MY PRAYERS.

Ed started here at the young age of 25 and was taken under the wings of Brad Leach and Myles Moran, whom have both since passed. Ed learned the majority of automotive skills through the military and from these 2 men, plus hours upon hours of courses.

As we celebrate our nation's 250th Birthday, WOW, we all need to make some time to reflect upon what America really means to you, your family, our heritage! It is truly amazing to be part of this amazing celebration!!! Time to take back America and defend her well being...

Foundry Street will be away in Maine during this event and cannot wait for the parade of Golf Carts that will be coming through all decked out for this event like last year. We are so looking forward to this celebration.

AWD vs. RWD & Tires - Watch this video to get a better understanding of when to change tires on AWD vehicles vs. RWD vehicles. The AWD vehicles have a transfer case (not a transmission) and play a major factor as to when and how many tires need to be replaced, 1, 2, 3 or all 4...

Great Information!

Is it ok to just replace 1 tire on an AWD vehicle when you get a flat tire, or do you have to buy all 4 new tires?
