As a Board Member of DEPM 501 (c) 3, Louise launches her dream of helping Edler people. As part pf Powells Services Auto Repair, she saw how hard it was for the Elders to pay their bill, so she launches Lou's Garage Mobile Services. She put it down on paper and now it's reality. Our Grand Opening was May 21st, 2022. Louise died on December 4th, 2019, before its opening.
So, we are continuing with those services....as a Sliding Scale Auto Repair Labor Cost

THE IMPORTANT OF WARMING YOUR VEHICLES
It cannot be understated how important it is to warm your car before you drive it. If it is 60 degrees out side , your motor is 60 degrees. If it is 10 Degrees then your motor is 10 degrees. It takes about 2-3 minutes for your car to Recognize your control sensor to operate correctly

Air Filters

Not replacing the air filter regularly. There's no good excuse for not replacing your vehicle's air filter every 10,000 to 12,000 miles. Air filters are inexpensive---usually $15 to $20-- and putting in a new one is simple do-it-yourself in most vehicles. If you don't want to do this yourself, a mechanic should be able to do this for you for the cost of the filter and a half-hour labor or less. Continue to use a dirty air filter, and you cost yourself money by reducing your car's fuel mileage.

However, car owners sometimes overspend because less-than-honest auto repair shops talk them in services that their cars don't really need.
We here at Powells Services have been in business for 32 years. We are now closed to the public. We are are a private membership club, so we are not looking for customers.

What is 50/50 anti-freeze

For every gallon of anti-freeze you add, you want to add a gallon of water. The best way to do this is to get an empty gallon jug, pour half of anti-freeze in it and fill them both up the rest of the way with water. I doesn't have to be perfectly equal, you want a roughly 50% water to 50% coolant .
Make 2 gallon out of 1 gallon of anti-freeze. Next time the sales person try to sell you 50/50 tell them you have plenty of water. Don't pay $5.00 for a half gallon of water
