At just 12 years old, Aurelia Awa has already shown more courage than most of us will face in a lifetime. She has battled cancer, blindness, and heart failure, and today she continues her fight at Stanford with a BiVAD — a mechanical heart device helping keep her alive while she waits for the heart transplant she urgently needs.

Many of you know Aurelia as the 2025 Hawai‘i Children’s Miracle Network Champion — a young warrior who has stood proudly beside our community, sharing her story and bringing hope to other families facing pediatric illness.

Now our community has the opportunity to stand beside her.

Every donation to her COTA fund helps support her transplant journey and the care she needs while she waits for a new heart.
