We recently teamed up with local partners in Maplewood for extra patrols focused on stopping impaired drivers and the results show why these efforts matter:
• 159 traffic stops
• 39 citations
• 9 DWIs
• 2 other arrests

One driver blew a 0.368 on a preliminary breath test. That’s more than four times the legal limit. It’s not just illegal, it’s incredibly dangerous.

This holiday season, please plan a sober ride every time. Use a designated driver, rideshare, taxi or public transit. Your choices affect more than just you — they protect your family, your community and every person sharing Minnesota’s roads.
