Things are feeling a little foreign in the shop this week at Blacktop Auto Works! 🇮🇹🇩🇪

We’ve got a couple of seriously special cars in the shop, and we couldn’t resist sharing them.

🇮🇹 1988 Ferrari Mondial
This beautiful Ferrari is in the shop for some major repairs. There’s just something special about seeing a Ferrari from this era roll through the doors—and even better, getting the opportunity to work on one.

🇩🇪 1994 BMW 850 CSi
And then there’s THIS beauty. Did you know only 225 BMW 850 CSi models were produced for the U.S. market in 1994 and 1995? That makes this one of the rarest BMWs you’re likely to see on the road. The 850 CSi was developed by BMW Motorsport, powered by a V12, and came exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission. (BMW M)

Two cars. Two completely different approaches to performance. Two pieces of automotive history.

And both are spending some time at Blacktop Auto Works.

We’re not just here to work on the everyday stuff. Whether it’s a daily driver, a classic, a European exotic, or something you hardly ever see twice—we’re here to REPAIR. MODIFY. PERFORM.

This 2008 GMC Sierra came into Blacktop Auto Works for some routine maintenance, but we decided to give it a little attitude while it was here. 🔧

We installed a 2-inch leveling kit and upgraded it with 32-inch all-terrain tires, completely transforming the stance and look of this Silverado while keeping it practical for everyday driving.

From regular maintenance to leveling kits, tires, and everything in between, Blacktop Auto Works is here to help you REPAIR. MODIFY. PERFORM.

A LITTLE ALTITUDE ADJUSTMENT! 🏔️

We gave this 2025 Ford Bronco a 3.5” Rough Country lift kit, upgraded Rough Country Heavy Duty Tie Rods, and finished it off with 35” Toyo All-Terrain tires.

We wrapped it all up with a proper wheel alignment to make sure this Bronco drives as great as it looks!

🚨 Blacktop Auto Works is Growing!🚨

As a family-owned and operated shop, we’ve been incredibly grateful for the support from the Hewitt / Woodway community. Because of that support… we’ve officially outgrown our current space. 👊

Blacktop Auto Works is now searching for a new home — temporary or permanent!

We’re currently sharing a shop and running out of room, so we’re looking for a centralized location with:
✔️ Easy access
✔️ Adequate parking
✔️ Around 6,000 sq ft of space

Our goal is to stay right here serving the Hewitt / Woodway area we call home.

This move will allow us to continue growing and expand our team, with plans to add at least one more technician once we’re settled.

We are also open to the right opportunity or partnership if it aligns with our long-term vision of eventually owning our own facility.

If you know of / own a building, property, or opportunity that could be a fit, we’d truly appreciate you reaching out or pointing us in the right direction!
