We’re kicking off our second week in the new Wahoo Windshields location, and honestly… we’re just thankful.

Thankful for the customers who followed us to the new shop.
Thankful for the busy phones, full schedule, and support from our community.
Thankful for everyone who has stopped by, shared our posts, recommended us, or simply checked in to see how things are going.

Today isn’t just about a long weekend or the start of summer, it’s about remembering the people who never made it home and honoring the families who carry that loss every single day.

Living in a small community like ours, chances are we all know someone who served, sacrificed, or gave more than most people will ever see. Today we remember them.

We hope everyone spends today slowing down a little, appreciating the freedoms we often take for granted, and spending time with the people who matter most.

Wahoo Windshields’ final day at our Painter location will be Friday, May 15.
Starting Monday, May 18, all services will be operating from our new shop located at:

We had several good guesses for our big announcement.. but here's the news:

We’re moving! Wahoo Windshields is heading into a new shop location! More space, a better setup, and room to keep doing things the right way.

Same services. Same number. Just a better space.

Stay tuned for the new shop start date and address! And if you come by the current shop in Painter, excuse our mess as we begin transitioning to the new shop!

Did you know there’s a difference in how tint gets done with us?

On vehicles, we use a plotter so everything is cut to fit before it even hits the glass — and all installs are done in-shop where we can control the environment for a clean, precise finish every time.

On houses and commercial jobs, it’s all hand cut — just experience, patience, and taking the time to get it right.

Tint is:
• Precision cuts
• Clean edges
• No debris
• Taking the time to do it right

After tint care:
• Keep windows up for at least 2–3 days (longer if it’s cold or cloudy)
• You may see small water bubbles or a hazy look at first — that’s normal and will clear as it cures
• Avoid cleaning the inside of the windows for about a week
• When you do clean them, use a gentle cleaner (no ammonia) and a soft cloth

Good tint takes a little time to fully set — but once it does, you’ll see the difference. Give us a call at 757-751-1229 to get all your questions answered or scheduled!

Quick behind-the-scenes on how we handle windshields 👇

We don’t just “order glass whenever.” We schedule installs and coordinate glass pickups/deliveries to keep things running efficiently and make sure we’re getting the right glass for each vehicle. This ensures correct fits the first time, smoother scheduling, and less delays.

So if you reach out and we say “we’ll get you on the next glass order”, know its because we’d rather do it right than rush it and deal with problems later.

This week we wrapped up a commercial tint job over at the Northampton County YMCA — and this one made a big difference. You can see the difference in the second picture at the light difference.

Those large bay doors and upper windows? They let in a ton of light and also a ton of heat and glare. Now there's reduced glare for games and events, cooler temperatures inside the gym, and a more comfortable space overall.
