We serviced this 2016 Ford Econoline since it rolled off the dealer lot. After 470,000 miles, the A/C compressor finally quit. When failures like this occur, the whole system needs to be replaced. The metal shavings from the failed compressor end up throughout the system, as seen in the bottom of the dryer receiver. When not properly repaired, the metal shavings will make their way into the new compressor destroying it.
