Hey gang! Not sure how many of you are still receiving these posts or even remember us, lol, but wanted to post up a bit of news that several folks have emailed us about over the past few months.

Yes, we will be liquidating our stuff via auction over the next couple of weeks. And by "stuff" we mean everything, up to and including our assless chaps. 😬

Now's your time to get some sweet, sweet vintage swag, tools, equipment and gear that you can use to reminisce over as well as boring visitors and guests to tears by recounting your stories of woe sweating under our lifts working on your vehicles, lol. πŸ˜‚

Need some fantastic tools to round out your collection? You know we've got the good stuff, made in the USA, from Wright Tool up in Ohio and all tools manufactured by Wright Tool have a lifetime warranty. πŸ˜‰

Need an entire tool box? Gotcha. Stainless steel workbenches? Covered. Clown shoes? Yup. Jester hat? MmmHmm, got one of those too, lol. If you're really serious, our lifts and compressors are available as is our 20' ceiling fan - which can really cool things down in your shed, garage or bedroom when pushing 250,000 cubic feet of air a minute, lol.

The auction starts closing on the 10th of October! Take a look, throw in a bid or two, get some of our stuff and offer it a new home in YOUR garage! 😊

*Actually, disregard the assless chaps thing, Ima keep those for our next gig. 😬

Howdy folks! Just wanted to thank everyone one more time for making the last seven years a fun romp. We tried our best to make sure we always had everything our customers needed - from tools to parts to fantastic staff members for help - and hopefully that showed.

Being a small business is not for the faint of heart and those who tackle it really do want to make a difference, they (we) really DO want to do the best we can for our customers because it's about more than just making a buck, it's about really being able to offer something special and to make a difference in their customer's lives. Unfortunately, that doesn't always equate to longevity for various reasons: pricing, costs, not being able to get the word out and who can forget pandemics, government shutdowns and utterly hot garbage economies. πŸ™„

That being said, we'd like to pass along some of the small businesses we frequent and love in the hopes that some of y'all will try them out, enjoy them as much as we have and help them weather the storm of this current economy by adding them to your list of "places we gotta go" on a routine or regular basis. You're the only thing standing between neat, yummy, niche businesses owned by Mom and Pop... and big, boring nationwide box stores and tasteless restaurants owned by faceless shareholders. πŸ˜’

And please - PLEASE - if you have a huge favorite place of your own that you frequent, please share and post it up in the comments with a few words and tag them (if they're on Facebook and, really, who isn't nowadays). We'd love for you to check out and like and follow the pages of these folks to help them continue to gain traction and then get out there and use their services! Try 'em out, great folks () are out there doing great things that you'll really enjoy - help them continue to feel like they're making a difference!! 😊

Y'all take care of yourselves and be safe out there! We'll miss you all! 😊

Check 'em all out!

Sorry folks, after having our supposed "super enthusiastic buyer" lead us on quite the goose chase ("snipe hunt" would be more accurate, actually, as we're certainly left holding the bag) for the past six months (after being quite clear we were only able to keep things going for TWO) he's bailed on us. πŸ˜” So much for "in good faith," right?

Sunday the 9th will be our last day open, so get in this week and crank out those projects you've been putting off while you have the access. If y'all know anyone who might be interested in a for-the-most-part turnkey auto repair shop - just sprinkle in some mechanics - feel free to share with them and have them reach out to us at [email protected].

Thank you all so much for all of the support and smiles and stories and busted car parts. We really can't express how much it has meant to us. We hope you all continue to have fun and support the DIY way. Stay safe out there. πŸ‘

Ya gotta be smart about this, one could... catch a chill. 😐

Casey's a familiar face here - he's always in doing something to his Subie. Today it's just a simple oil change. Even though it's simple, it's pretty damn important and one of the best ways to make sure your engine lasts a long time while staying healthy. Thirty minutes to basically guarantee that? Yes please. πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

That's ridiculous, she just needs to try harder. πŸ˜‘

Tim's working on his "BOT" (Big Ol Truck) today - got his 2015 GMC Sierra 2500HD here to change out a CV axle and while that may sound complicated, it's really not that bad. All done and out the door in about 80 minutes he's saved himself a day without his vehicle (if he's lucky) and a big ol bill for the labor. 😊

Thankfully this is a rarity. πŸ˜’

Michael's got his friggin awesome Tacoma up here with us to swap in some new fox coilovers with reservoirs after two sets of Bilsteins have not performed as expected as the weight of the vehicle has increased. Not a difficult project, just a little time consuming - he's all done and buttoned up in a little over three hours having saved himself some great money. 😊

Quanche's doing the first oil change on his bike, a Yamaha R1. Start those basic maintenance disciplines early to help stick to them - especially when it comes to break-in stuff. πŸ˜‰
