Hemi Wake Up!!

Operation “Unlock Me”

Customer came in wanting more out of his 5.7L HEMI—
not just louder… stronger where it counts.

Stage 1 Setup:
Holley Hi-Ram Intake
Throttle Body Adapter
S&B Filters Intake
Borla Exhaust
Banks Power PedalMonster

Install went smooth—but like most Hi-Ram setups,
you need supporting mods to do it right. No shortcuts.

Even at this stage, the truck pulls hard up top and feels completely different.

And as always—
we took it for a totally all business test drive.

Operation: It’s a Beaut. 🔥

A local fireman rolled in with his brand new Toyota Tacoma SR5 Double Cab 4x4 and said,
“It looks like grandpa drives it.”

He wanted a subtle lift — nothing crazy, just the right stance to match his style. So we installed a Rough Country 3.5” Lift Kit to level it out and wake it up.

For wheels, he kept it clean and simple:
• KMC Lobo (17x8.5) – Matte Black
• Wrapped in Falken Wildpeak A/T4W 285/70R17s

The result?
Aggressive but refined.
Nasty stance.
Smooth ride.

Rough Country nailed the balance on this one.

Customer was so fired up he showed up early for pickup. That’s how you know it’s right.

Operation: Work Truck No Mo. 🔧🔥

Work trucks are built to haul.
Heavy-duty springs. Stiff rear ends. Designed to tow big weight.

But when you’re not towing?
That same setup turns into a rough, bouncy ride. And we hear that complaint all the time.

When customers want lift + real ride quality, there’s only one answer: Carli Suspension.

For this build, we installed a Carli Leveling System and added:
• Sway Bar Drop Bracket
• Adjustable Track Bar
• Rear Leaf Shackle

The result?
✔ Proper geometry
✔ Improved compliance
✔ Light-duty comfort without sacrificing capability

That gave us the clearance to mount:
• Black Rhino Arsenal 18” wheels
• 37x12.50R18 Toyo Open Country tires

Customer reaction:

Typically, inspection fails lead to necessary repairs. In this case it lead to the approval of modifications to this monster 454 Silverado. The customer requested a dependable vehicle with a lowered stance. Consequently, a 5” front and 7” rear drop kit was installed, which involved modifications to the frame and a transition to smaller tires. During the inspection, we also identified and repaired some questionable wiring. The outcome was a strikingly low yet reliable truck that performs exceptionally well.
