▪️gutted engine bay and painted nardo grey
▪️ welded all badge and wing holes to give a clean rear finish

Two days past the anniversary of the first paint job that I ever did, on my E36 in 2019 in the backyard on a rainy day. Fast forward 2023, I was able to turn something I was inquisitive about, into a career. I get to serve the greatest customers in the world.

Here are a few things I’ve learned along the way:

1. I don’t know a damn thing, things change so often we need to be sponges, being in a constant state of learning

2. Life can get great really quickly, after a lot of failures, so fail as much as you can

3. Perfectionism is not your friend

4. Start where you are until you can get where you want to be, do not despise small beginnings.

5. Life is hard, people will change, you won’t always get what you want, and that’s the best part. Good times keep you relaxed, bad times get you uncomfortable and discomfort gets you moving.

6. Every bad isn’t so bad, it’s all about your perspective.

7. Slower is faster -Rick

1 year doing this paint thing full time. 🙏🏾

God has been a provider. I can honestly say that through answered prayers and some effort, I can see slow and steady progress. 🙏🏾

Thanks to all who have helped with growth thus far, without you all Macs wouldn’t be where it is today. There’s gonna be a time I’ll be able to give back to y’all the way I’d like to, but the way this budget is set up right now 🤣🤣

I commit to aim towards excellence and correctness, to be able to serve fellow enthusiasts with the best quality work, building trust through consistency as Mac’s Custom Haus continues to grow 🫶🏾

Some progress on track build RX7 FC 🏎️.

The engine bay has been gutted, thoroughly degreased and washed w/ the assistance of my little bro , rust stripped and treated w/ some OSPHO, primed, sealed and painted Nardo Grey.
