Winter is coming. MasterTech Auto Care would like to be safe this winter season with these top 5 maintenance items.....
In Virginia Beach, winter conditions are generally milder than in northern regions, but the colder months still bring specific challenges that can affect car maintenance. Here are the top 5 winter maintenance car issues typically seen in Virginia Beach:

1. Battery Failures
Cause: While Virginia Beach winters aren't as harsh as in northern areas, the occasional cold snap can cause battery power to drop. Coastal humidity also accelerates corrosion at the battery terminals, which can lead to failure.
Symptoms: Difficulty starting the vehicle, dim headlights, battery warning light on the dashboard, or visible corrosion around the battery terminals.
2. Tire Pressure Issues
Cause: Cold temperatures cause the air in tires to contract, leading to a decrease in tire pressure. This is particularly important in Virginia Beach, where the region's coastal humidity and occasional cold fronts can affect tire performance.
Symptoms: Tire pressure warning light, rough ride, poor traction on wet or icy roads, or uneven tire wear.
3. Frozen Windshield Washer Fluid
