As we enter Race 3 & 4 of the 2026 season, this will be the first time a lot of our regulars are coming to play with us, so this is just a quick reminder of some of the changes that we’ve made in the off-season to hopefully have a better and smoother event for the racers & staff!
- Juniors are TWO age groups now (6-12 & 13-up), once your on the ladder, the ladder flows through the whole day, it has been a very easy process at the 2 Cecil events to not have to re-ladder each round.
- Bonus money will go into effect for the next 10 events - meaning no matter the car count - $250 additional will be added to every winners purse in both age groups, if weather is an issue that bonus rolls to the next event.
- A clean-up run will be provided if you weren’t able to make any qualifying passes - so if you were broke, got there late, we will get you a run but please be suited and ready when we call you
- If there is an issue of any sort please find Dana or Myself to discuss.
- The gate fee for each race has gone up $5.00 so it is now $25 at the gate - REMEMBER MASON DIXON IS CASH ONLY!
- Make sure all proper safety equipment is on and used during any runs, if you are unsure refer to the NHRA rule book under your class
- Time runs - We are trying something a little different with run order this year in which we will run Juniors first, then a slower class (Sportsman) then back into Q2 on Saturdays, then normal rotation for Big Cars. A second chance race will be an option depending on time, weather and car counts.
- Refunds
If you enter the track and are warming up the car and something breaks or you become ill and have paid you will get a 100% refund or a transfer of money to the next day / race. Once you light the beams and take the tree, no refunds will be issued
- Payouts begin at R3 - it is your responsibility to come pick up your cash at the trailer - we will not come find you, after a few event with it not being claimed it will go back into the series fund.
