This weekend was a good one — we saved this awesome truck without replacing the entire engine harness 💪🚙
That means:
✅ No massive parts bill
✅ No unnecessary modules
✅ No engine harness nightmare
Also happy to report: no modules or rodents were injured during this repair 😆
Once it was fixed, we coated the entire undercarriage with Fluid Film Clear + peppermint oil in hopes of sending a clear message to the local rodent population: not today.
Reminder:
🐭 Rodents want warmth
🐭 They’re creatures of habit
🐭 If your vehicle sits too long, you’re inviting them in
Best prevention:
• Change parking spots
• Don’t let vehicles sit too long
• Spray the undercarriage
• Open the hood now and then
• And if all else fails… get a cat 🐈
Because apparently modern trucks are now luxury condos for mice.

This was a very long and busy week but we greatly appreciate all our customers and supporters! We will be closed this weekend and will resume by Wednesday of next week. Enjoy the beautiful upcoming weather and spend as much time with your family and kids as you can!

Teach them young and enjoy any time you get with your kids no matter what. I told him that he's not allowed to be a mechanic but I will teach him all I know lol. He's got his dad's work ethics for sure. We have some openings coming up this weekend. We are still drop off only and by appointment.

Busy weekend.. Ford Fiesta timing belt and water pump. Front shocks and rust prevention undercoating on a jeep wrangler. The owner is thinking about selling the 97 Jeep Wrangler if anyone is interested. It needs some TLC but has a solid frame! We are busy but scheduling as we can!

We do undercoating on all vehicles to prevent severe rust damages like this. We also can restore rust damages as well. The best prevention for rust is to undercoat and have yearly Inspections completed. Our inspections are at no charge. It's simply a courtesy to you. I would rather sacrifice a little of my time then to see you having to buy a new car or purchase a used car in this condition! Spring is the perfect time to have your vehicles undercarriage pressure washed and undercoating completed!

My youngest employee taking care of brakes and nearly doing it all himself. Closely supervised and double checked of course lol. Then when he got done work he was surprised with an Autographed Eagles helmet of Jason Kelse from his Grandma ! Most brake jobs, pads and rotors are $300 installed. The parts have lifetime warranty and 1 year warranty on the labor. Drop off only and by appointment. Be safe out there. I love that my boy has a strong work ethic and wants to learn!

There are times that we are not the best option for a customer at times. Recently we have had jobs that are to big for our location. We also had rust restoration jobs that with us being part time it was not the best option for us to do the work. Being able to have other friends who do these repairs take care of our customers is an amazing thing. Networking and helping eachother when needed is priceless. Help eachother succeed! Being humble and admitting you are not the best option at times is not easy but it's all about what's best for the customer.

Attention!! We are seeing a huge uptick in rear main seals failing in the 2.4 GM / Chevy engines due to either a plugged pcv or moisture freezing. For a simple quick check you can start your engine and loosen your oil cap. Don't remove it but just let it loose like in the video. If it's staying mostly sucked onto the opening then your pcv is working. If it bobbles around, you have a potential very costly problem. The PCV service is a few hundred depending. Should the rear mains seal blow out due to excess pressure then you are looking at a 2k to 3k job. With the weather getting cold, get your vehicles checked ! We have some openings coming up. It will be getting cold very fast! Make sure you are paying attention to your cabin filters! Brakes are a must! We offer brake pads and rotors installed for $300. We also have an option for the upgraded brake rotors and lifetime parts warranty for $400! This is for most vehicles so please check in advance.
