Crooked Creek Recreation Area

We have 2 Halloween events coming up soon.

Due to the nature of Halloween being a scary holiday by design, when attending such an event please be aware you and/or your loved ones may be scared at times.

A chainless chainsaw is a normal Halloween prop, much like clowns, ghosts, other noise making devices, etc. that could and may be used in or around haunted houses, campers, trails, etc. during this time.
We realize not every child or adult reacts the same when faced with certain scary situations.

Hopefully you and your family will be able to notice and avoid the areas or situations that you know to be more scary than others if that is an issue for you.

Our expectation is that all who attend make yourselves aware of your surroundings and participate in a safe and respectful manner to avoid any issues.

Also, please be aware, neither the people who provide candy nor Crooked Creek Recreation Area make any promise or guarantee that you will receive any candy, although there is usually plenty for everyone.

Scheduled time for Trick or Treating is: 6pm to 8pm on Oct. 24th Campers Only, and Oct. 31st, Open to the Public.

Be prepared to park and walk as no vehicles or golf carts are allowed to move in the main campground during that time. We suggest you arrive early.

We are looking forward to 2 fun filled weekends.

See you Crooked Creek Recreation Area
