Just a Little trailer repair i did recently for a friend of mine. He tried to remove the old coupler and cut i into the frame more than he intended. The driver side wasn’t too bad, so i was able to just fill and grind a few spots, but the passenger side i had to cut and rework the tongue. All in all got him back On the road ready for another 10 years of work. This was my first “mobile” job, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out

I cant get over how huge this thing looks up on a lift. it was too tall to fit through the door, but we were able to move vehicles inside the shop and pull it on backwards from the front, which probably worked out better anyway with the garage door 👌 after spending the weekend working on this thing, ill be paying someone else from now on😂

I havent been posting lately, but still do a few jobs every now and then. I got to do a full carli lift kit on this 2020 powerstroke today. Full front suspension with offroad swaybar, along with a progressive rate leaf pack in the rear. It only lifts the back about an inch, but replaces the massive overload spring and the factory block with multiple smaller springs to improve ride quality both loaded and empty

Iv always liked turning Nothing into something, and since i got that 24’ trailer i wanted something smaller so i wasnt dragging that big heavy trailer around all the time. (Iv since traded back for my old trailer which makes this one a lot less nessecary but thats beside the point 🤦‍♂️) i looked at one of the cheaper options for trailers and decided to build one. Pretty happy with how this turned out and it should work great. this is a 82’ x 14. extra wide to fit my sxs. I also upsized the frame from 3/16 to 1/4, along with channel for the tounge vs angle, and got 15” wheels for much better tire options. I just have to give it a few days for paint to dry and throw some boards/ lights on it.

Got the new shocks and springs on the cummins last night. Ditched the leveling blocks and shock spacers in favor of thuren full length springs and a set of bilstein 5100s all the way around. Hoping for a bit smoother ride!

I havent posted in a while. Been taking a break since having the baby. Most recently iv knocked out a few sets of rock sliders. The first set was on my personal machine, and then a similar set for Justin Stephens with the ride epic 4 seater. Both sets turned out great, and very sturdy.

Had a small personal project to knock out tonight. I got this grading blade through a trade deal, and it had a previous “repair” that wasnt done very well. Holds true to the old saying, if you cant weld good, just weld a lot. They even welded on the inside so i couldnt sleeve it like i wanted to! I cut out the old bu**er weld down to good metal, and welded it up. I could definitely spend some time grinding the outside flat and fish plate the seam, but as they say, its good enough for who its for! (Me) I also welded on a piece of all thread to hold some
Counterweights.

I know iv been gone for a while, but that doesnt mean i havent been busy. Some
Recent projects iv been working on.
1. Frame rust repair and a few other things on my jeep tj ( didnt get many pictures of it. It was a side project in-between working on other things)
2. I built a full rzr protection. Cage, front and rear bumpers, as well as rock sliders. Final pics will come after powder and the roof is installed!

Trying to dial back the projects and get caught up before the baby arrives. Getting close!

Doing something a little different in the shop this week. A customer came to me and had very specific requests, and asked if i could fulfill them. Its been a bit of a slow process as there’s definitely added challenges trying to make someone else’s vision reality, but things are really coming together now. The sliders are held on with grade 8, 1/2” bolts through the frame into a threaded b**g in the tube. With 5 frame connection points, there is no chance of them popping off like with the factory anchors.
