Amsoil synthetic Oils started in 1972 with America's first 25,000 mile oil. The founder, Al Amatuzio, took what he knew to be better lubricants out of jet engines-then $40/quart, and developed a team to research automotive lubricants and filters, second to none. Back then 20w-50 and 10-w-40 oils were theTechnologies common viscosities and 1,000- 3,000 mile oil changes were common in the Auto industry. Now, Amsoil's 25,000 mile Oils and Filters are 0w-20 and 0w-30.
