I have a very close friend that is selling a stunning, fully restored 1980 MGB Limited Edition, nothing overlooked, literally like new only better with the upgraded carb((38/38 downdraft carb) with electronic ignition system, ultra reliable and runs smooth and strong, he’s asking $22,500 and it’s worth much more in my professional opinion, 37,375 original miles.

Ok.. she’s back up and running great, 3 piece clutch replaced, upgraded rear main seal, new clutch slave cylinder, along with several electrical switches, everything is working on this Russet Brown MGB!

Well, after the first test drive this brown B needed a clutch to say the least.. it was completely shot, throwout bearing was gone, clutch disk was beyond thin and the pressure plate was chewed up from the damaged/worn out throwout bearing so the 3 piece clutch was replaced with a Borg&Bech clutch, and while I was in there the engine mounts and transmission mounts were replaced along with the rear main seal getting an up grade

Set back on the Russet Brown B.. went for a little drive which proved that the clutch was beyond shot.. time to pull the...

Set back on the Russet Brown B.. went for a little drive which proved that the clutch was beyond shot.. time to pull the motor n transmission.. replaced the engine mounts, transmission mounts, obviously the clutch pressure plate(Borg&Beck), clutch disk and throw out bearing, an upgraded rear main seal. ….and might as well replace the slave cylinder since it’s easier to replace while the engine is out.

Just about finished up, interior finished, top cleaned up and engine compartment back together and working great!
