Well, I can finally say with confidence that the 14 WRX Hatch project is officially over. She was able to get fired up earlier this afternoon after some fresh motor oil, fresh coolant and some MUCH needed OEM Transmission Fluid.

As you can tell, the transmission fluid desperately needed to be changed hundreds, if not thousands, of miles ago. Way before this project happened, 4th gear had a gnarly grind about every other shift, and now I know why; half of 4th gear came out with the transmission drain. About half of the fluid that came out was just a nasty silver/grey and had an absolute disgusting smell to it.

Thank you to for lending me the knowledge I didn’t have during this process, along with all the tricks and tips to get this done. Also a humongous thank you and for getting me most of the parts/fluids I needed quicker than anywhere else would’ve gotten them to me. Last but not least, thank you to my tuner for getting this base map sent out a month ago for this exact point, and continuing to send revisions out for this.
