1964 Chevrolet C10 Short Box Stepside
6-cylinder • 3-speed manual

Being a Texas truck, the rust is very, very minimal. The seat was just reupholstered, it runs very nice and drives decent. It’ll need a few minor repairs if you’re planning to daily-drive it.

But let’s be realistic… we all know what this truck REALLY needs. 😎

An LS, dropped spindles, a C-Notch out back, and you’ll be ready for next year’s C10's At The Lake 2026 Classic Truck Show truck show!

These trucks are getting very difficult to find in this kind of condition, especially with this much original character still intact.

Just removed from a 1972 Grand Prix yesterday, VIN matched to the car. Appears to have been rebuilt at some point, scope shows crosshatching in the cylinder walls. Compression 120-140

Story Time with Dr. LS...

A Columbus Day Storm, a 1957 Chevy, and a pretty incredible piece of family history! 🇺🇸🚗

On October 12, 1962, the Pacific Northwest was hit by what became known as the Columbus Day Storm, one of the most powerful windstorms in West Coast history.

Even here in Vancouver, Washington, nearly two hours from the coast, the destruction was tremendous. It's a storm that people who lived through it never forgot.

But what does a storm in 1962 have to do with All American Classics?

Six years ago, a friend came across some old photos posted on the page "Growing Up in Vancouver." Ian Crawford had shared pictures of his grandparents' service station taken during the storm.

And there, completely by chance, was my dad sitting in line for gas in his 1957 Chevrolet!

Not just any '57 Chevy, either!

This was the car my dad bought in 1959. A factory built red on red car, 270HP dual 4 carbs 283, close ratio manual transmission.

He drag raced it for a couple of years, drove on his honeymoon with my mom, and eventually brought me home from the hospital in it when I was born!

And the best part? I still own that very same '57 Chevy today! It now has the original engine back in it that was removed in 1961 when he was done drag racing it.

Nearly 60 years after that photograph was taken, nobody had any idea my dad and his Chevy were in it until Ian shared it!

Sometimes the history behind an old car is worth more than the car itself.
