The FP7875 is a rock solid option as a single setup on mild 5.3L combos, or put a pair together on your bigger cube builds and let them SING!

Price point is insane.
Performance is killer.
Compressor Cover is ultra sick.

Easy decision to add to cart.

Being in your 30's and a fan of imports means the moment a clean Evo 8/9 enters the chat, feelings are felt. Shout out to for holding the torch for us. His Xona XRE6869 powered Evolution is gorgeous.

We share products and builds, but we also need to share troubleshooting tips from our extended FP family. We posted yesterday asking for people to share their "A-Ha!" moments with boost control issues, and you all did not disappoint!

First up, Dario expands on a restriction in the boost path, causing unnecessary stress on the turbocharger and related components!

"Just had a car on the dyno, no matter what we did the car would only make 8lbs. Put a boost gauge on the car pre intercooler and it was making 18lbs. Needless to say it was a restrictive intercooler."

Boost leaks aren't the only thing that can plague a build, boost RESTRICTIONS can also wreak havoc. These are a few quick fire examples, we want to hear your "a-ha!" moments in the comments, pics appreciated...

COMMON COLD SIDE LEAK LOCATIONS:

1. Silicone Couplers
2. Incomplete welds (your Uncle needs to practice)
3. Intake manifold gasket
4. Vacuum reference lines & ports
5. Blow Off Valves
6. Throttle body gasket / Throttle itself

COMMON HOT SIDE LEAK LOCATIONS:

1. Just look for whatever is covered in exhaust soot, and follow the trail to leak town.

BOOST RESTRICTIONS:

1. Is your air filter buried into the turbo's inlet pipe?
2. Is there rags left in your charge pipes?
3. Do you have both a turbine and compressor wheel still?
4. Are those wheels in the correct location still?

Brenden is holding it down for the 2V Ford gang with this killet new edge build. A FP55-94mm is hanging off the front end, adding some ballast for when this unit wants to hike the front to the moon.

For our budget minded friends with a 6.0L+ LSx combo, the HD8588 offers an absolute ton of value for the price. 85mm inducer on the compressor matched to a 96x88mm on the turbine side, you're going to click off 1000+whp with absolute ease.

These units ship with a divided T6 1.32 A/R turbine housing which is well suited to the larger displacement motors with a good bit of cam and higher stall than factory.

Did you notice the spelling mistake in the post?

If yes, you likely also notice that when you send a turbocharger in for a rebuild, you are required to include the rebuild form with your package. Otherwise, HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHO'S TURBO IT IS?

YOU THINK WE HAVE MISS CLEO ON STAFF?
YOU THINK ROBERT IS A MAGICAL MIND READING WIZARD?
IS THERE A CARRIER PIGEON INBOUND WITH YOUR CONTACT INFO?

THE NEXT PERSON THAT SENDS US A TURBO FOR A REBUILD, WITHOUT INCLUDING PROPER DOCUMENTATION, WE ARE BUILDING A TREBUCHET AND LAUNCHING IT INTO LOWER ORBIT. WE ARE GOING TO BECOME A REAL PROBLEM FOR SPACEX WITH THE AMOUNT OF SHRAPNEL WE'RE PLANNING ON HUCKING INTO THE ZONE OF NO RETURN.
