Valpo Car Co.

Valpo Car Co. Thanks for stopping by! We are a family-owned business with over 30 years of service in Northwest Indiana. Bad credit? No credit? Have a vehicle to sell?

VCC opened in 2009 with the goal of providing unique and quality products paired with honest and attentive service for our clients. In today's market, it's not easy to find a business that focuses on serving its clientele first and foremost. Our priority is to keep things simple- high quality cars and unbeatable pricing! We utilize technology that 95% of dealers do NOT take advantage of! Prior to

obtaining our inventory, we scan the vehicle's history to make sure it's been well-maintained and has not been seriously damaged. Then, we research the market averages in Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland to price our vehicles lower than the competition! We're a hometown, family-owned business with a small staff and low overhead- we pass the savings on to you! We have relationships with many local lenders to offer the lowest financing rates around! Reposession, foreclosure, or bankrupcy? Not a problem- we will help you purchase a new car! We work with lenders that will not only help you get behind the wheel of a new car, but on the road to better credit! Every single on-time payment gets reported to all credit bureaus, which will boost your credit score and open the door to a brighter future! We'll buy your quality vehicle on the spot! Give us a call, stop by, and check out our website! Thank you for visiting our page :)

The 2026 Valpo Parks Winter Hockey league has come to a close, seeing destiny’s darlings finish the job in front of a record breaking attendance. The trophy was certainly ours to lose, but the boys in red, white, and blue absolutely delivered for their devoted fanbase. After a first round bye, a 9-5 win in the second round and a dominant 6-1 performance in the final, experts unanimously agree this 8-0 championship winning squad is the best men’s hockey team ever to grace the William E. Urschel Pavilion. 3 titles in 4 years. Some call it a dynasty, some call it business as usual for the #1 used car dealer in Valparaiso!

Congratulations to our team award winners 🏆

Goalie #29 Kyle “Great Wall of Alberta” Lodberg is your back-to-back team MVP. Pure dominance in net. Every game, every year. After a brief postgame meeting on the matter, the team has decided they no longer hold your Canadian heritage against you.

Sportsman of the Year award goes to the player who displays the most honorable conduct on and off the ice- someone who *definitely* would never get ejected, suspended, or complain. Your 2026 Sportsman of the Year is #13 Levi “Brother Hezekiah” Oman, the world’s first Amish Zamboni mechanic.

Congratulations to our skaters 🥇

#66 Brandon “I Score Goals” Kapitan
#7 Kyle “Poetry in Motion” Porter
#75 Rocco “Old Roc” Labriola
#55 Evan “Dirty Boy” Timmons
#69 Andrew “Locker Room Guy” Vecchi
#19 Scott “The Missing Link” Fisher
#88 Rocco “New Roc” Calipari
#17 Eric “Big Country” McGovern
#67 Mike “67” Sandage
#17 Ethan “The Man” Levin

Thank you for 𝚜̶𝚞̶𝚏̶𝚏̶𝚎̶𝚛̶𝚒̶𝚗̶𝚐̶ ̶𝚝̶𝚑̶𝚛̶𝚘̶𝚞̶𝚐̶𝚑̶ thoroughly enjoying my updates every week. Hockey nights are *the* most fun you can have during a midwest winter. I am grateful to be a part of it. We’ll be back on the ice in 2027, stay tuned!!

In a shocking twist of events, the 2026 Valpo Car Co Men’s Hockey team’s flawless season has come to a screeching halt. Events unfolded last night at William E. Urschel Pavilion that were completely foreign to anyone skating in a red, white, and blue sweater. While the team was floored to see a record turnout of *ten* fans in attenance for Tuesday’s matchup, the fans were equally floored to witness the horror that befell the A division leaders on the sheet.

Approximately ninety seconds into the affair, tragedy struck our beloved squad. For the first time this year, our boys were *trailing* in a game- a horrific scene that shook everyone in attendance to their core. While we were able to tie the game at 1-1… tragedy struck yet again with our *second* time trailing shortly following.

As fans were left speechless on the sidelines, taunts of “where’s that horn now??” erupted from the IN Coast bench. Fresh off his Olympic victory in Milan, star defenseman #69 Andrew “Bubble Hockey” Vecchi took those co**ie taunts to heart. And boy did the other team pay. Ol’ Vech stirred up team morale for not only an impressive 6-2 comeback victory, but also swatted in his second (non-asscheek) goal of the year. The A division leaders remain undefeated and have clinched the #1 seed headed into next week’s single elimination, win-or-go-home playoffs.

We look forward to hoisting the Valpo Parks cup after next Tuesday’s tournament- RealFeel permitting, of course.

The Valpo Car Co Men’s Hockey team faced off against league rival Franklin House last night in a matchup that showcased unwavering defensive resolve on both sides of the puck. While awful warm for a hockey game, thankfully the RealFeel was not high enough to warrant cancellation. If game time temperature was above 45°, skaters would have gotten heat stroke and died instantly.

I humbly admit that for the first time in my life… I was wrong. Weeks ago, a certain Valpo Parks reporter predicted one team in particular would get “hammered” on the box score. It was more of a “slight buzz” though as the boys in red, white, and blue remain undefeated on the heels of a 3-0 victory. Frontrunner for 2026 MVP #29 Kyle Lodberg led the way in the shutout putting on a goaltending masterclass at William E. Urschel Pavilion, and congratulations to star enforcer #67 Mike “67” Sandage on finally making his way into the scorebook.

In related news, team captain #66 Brandon Kapitan is rumored to be writing a sequel to his groundbreaking 2019 memoir “How to Score Lots of Goals” with his new work titled “I Forgot How to Score Lots of Goals”. The team wishes him the best with his literary endeavors.

We return to the rink next Tuesday night for the last game of the regular season before the tournament. Tune in next week!

Sadly, the 2026 Valpo Car Co Men’s Hockey Team were *not* able to play their scheduled tilt last night due to cancellation by Valpo Parks brass.

Thankfully the RealFeel was well above zero, so widespread death and injury were to be avoided. However, Valpo sports and scheduling extraordinaire Ms. Cassey Knight sent a league wide email precisely 2 hours before Turesday’s puck drop informing skaters of a “Zamboni malfunction” with the highly touted matchup to be rescheduled.

During the team’s weekly press conference, when asked about his thoughts on the cancellation, Amish defenseman #13 Levi “Brother Jebediah” Oman smirked and opined in the following form: “That’s lamer than a one-legged dog! I wrench on my John Deere all the time, how hard can a Canadian snow tractor be?!”

Sadly, Ms. Knight did not realize Levi was the world’s first Amish Zamboni mechanic. Rest assured, moving forward we were informed that Levi will be consulted on all matters mechanical.

The boys in red, white, and blue return to William E. Urschel Pavilion next week for the most anticipated matchup of the 2026 season vs. league rivals Franklin House. Tune in next Tuesday!

Sincere apologies for the *very* delayed weekly hockey update- the past few days were spent on a lesser hobby of mine (car sales). To our international fanbase: I am sorry. You deserve better!

The Valpo Car Co Men’s Hockey Team returned to a highly anticipayed battle after a one week absence, putting on a display of sheer athleticism and dominance in a 13-3 rout. We now stand atop the Valpo Parks A Division with an undefeated 4-0 record. No one In the world could have bested us Tuesday night- not with the pregame energy and momentum that we had on our side! What energy, you ask?

Tuesday’s tilt also happened to be the squad’s 2026 uniform unveiling. A large crowd was gathered to witness the event with team captain #66 Brandon Kapitan appearing on stage… draped in Ol’ Glory herself! The uniform release coincides with the start of the 2026 Winter Olympics. Many in the Olympic community view our VCC squad as up-and-coming phenoms to look for in the 2030 games- namely star defenseman #69 Andrew Vecchi.

I have several 2026 VCC jerseys for our devoted fans- if you’d like one, I’ll bring one to the rink for you to have as a gift and wear while cheering on our favorite team. VCC swag has and always will be free.

The boys in red, white, and blue return to William E. Urschel Pavilion next Tuesday night! You won’t want to miss it!!
