Before and after on a set of Continental engine parts, sent in by Alex, one of our customers:

"I used KBS [Klean], Rust Blast and Old Gold Motor Coater in the aerosol presentation... I just followed the instructions; very straight forward. I was very satisfied with the end results."

The process:
1. Stripped the old paint
2. KBS Klean to cut the oil
3. RustBlast to etch the metal
4. Motor Coater in Olds Gold, straight from the aerosol can

Motor Coater goes right onto steel and aluminum with no primer and is rated to 500°F. It comes in 42 OEM matched colors, in aerosol, pint or quart.

A 470 Mopar stroker, built from a 400 B block, in KBS Motor Coater Chrysler Turquoise.

The builder in Langley, BC is putting it together for a friend's '68 Charger. He sprayed two coats and says it covers very well and the color looks spot on. The engine isn't in the car yet, but it already looks right for that hood.

Chrysler Turquoise is our match for 383 to 440 big blocks, 1962 to 1971. Motor Coater is rated to 500°F and bonds direct to metal with no primer.

Customer build: Brad Ayres ( on Instagram) has been cleaning his chassis, sanding a pattern into the bare metal, and coating it. For the finish he went with KBS MAXX Clear in Flat.

"It's a polyurethane that sticks like glue to metals. It's a true flat coating with no sheen. I am extremely happy with the result."

"The finish still held and actually beaded up the rain." A rain shower hit before Bee thought the clear had cured, and the finish held anyway.
