We decided it was time to play with one of our Dads bikes, 2014 Yamaha XT250. This is what we found. Gasoline will do this in just a few years of sitting. A new one was almost $600. Luckily we were able to rebuild the unit with all new wiring, pump, regulator, level thermistor and pick up screen. Quality parts, and less than 1/5 of what a new one would cost. Sometimes it pays to fix things rather than replace.

Got a chrome frame and building it up with rc260 with an ada stalker can exhaust. Should have the pole ready this week.

We have a nice banshee in the shop this week for a refresh and clean up.

Pulled carbs for a MUCH needed cleaning. We ahead and synced them while we were there. She has good compression and revs really crisp.

Need to button up a few loose ends and it’ll be ready for whatever they want to do next! It’s a project!

Also, a lot of folks always remember brake pads on their cars but don’t forget your power sports have them too!

Some may go its entire life on its original pads, it just depends on how you ride.

Needless to say, this 04 TRX450R is living longer than the pads!

1984 Suzuki LT50.

Bringing it back to life, spent a few hours trying to get the carb to stop leaking from the overflow, come to find out you CAN still buy a NEW one straight from Suzuki!

It runs well other than the dang fuel leak! After that is done we will be steam cleaning the frame and it should be ready for it’s new home.

Didn’t have much extra time this week, but we got the motor in today and it looks awesome.

Getting closer and closer!

Came out pretty good!

It’s fun trying to figure out what you’re missing with a table full of hardware!
