🚨 MIDDLESEX TOWNSHIP POLICE ADVISORY 🚨

With spring upon us and more vehicles back on the road, we are working to bring awareness to the Pennsylvania Move Over Law (Title 75 § 3327).

Over the next few weeks, officers will be out proactively enforcing this law to help protect first responders, tow operators, and motorists on the roadside.

When you see emergency lights:

➡️ MOVE OVER to the next lane if safely possible
➡️ If you can’t move over, SLOW DOWN
➡️ On single-lane roads, reduce speed by at least 20 MPH

💵 Violations: $500 fine and 2 points on your license

This is about safety — for our officers, emergency crews, and the public.

Move over if you can. Slow down if you can’t. 🚓

This pickup narrowly missed a telephone pole and slid into a ditch that was pretty deep, and straight down off of the shoulder of the road. With our trucks and equipment, we were able to remove the truck from the ditch.
