We are still looking for a full-time automotive mechanic!
Duties include performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency. Test-drive vehicles, and test components & systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, etc. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor, so customers are informed if any additional repair services are needed.

Duties
Perform repairs on damaged vehicles, including bodywork and structural repairs.
Utilize welding techniques to restore vehicle integrity and safety.
Conduct auto estimating to assess repair costs and timeframes accurately.
Maintain and repair vehicle components, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Execute auto painting tasks, including surface preparation and application of finishes.
Work with sheet metal to fabricate or replace parts as necessary.
Assemble various vehicle components after repairs are completed.
Handle auto glass replacement or repair as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality outcomes.

Skills
Proficiency in welding techniques and the use of hand tools for automotive repair.
Strong knowledge of auto estimating processes for accurate cost assessment.
Experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, with a focus on bodywork.
Familiarity with auto painting methods and materials for effective application.
Ability to work with sheet metal for repairs or custom fabrication projects.
Competence in assembling vehicle parts post-repair to ensure functionality.
Experience in auto glass installation or repair is a plus.
Mechanical aptitude with a keen eye for detail and quality workmanship.
